Welcome to St. Paul's Compstall

A warm, friendly Anglican church on the edge of Compstall village, halfway between Romiley and Marple Bridge. Everyone is welcome here.

When We Meet

Join us on Sundays

We gather together each week to pray, sing, and share in the life of faith together. See News for details of any special services for Harvest, Remembrance, Christmas and Easter. All are welcome at any of our services.

MOST SundayS

9:30 am

Parish Eucharist

Our main Sunday service — a traditional Church of England service with hymns, readings, sermon and Holy Communion.

THIRD Sunday IN MONTH

9:30 am

Family Service

A less formal communion service with (orchestral) band rather than organ.

Whether you've been coming to church your whole life, or you've never set foot inside one — you're welcome here. St. Paul's is a place where questions are as valued as answers, and where faith is explored together, not handed down from on high.

We're a small, close-knit congregation rooted in the village of Compstall, an historic mill village on the edge of the Peak District. We care about our neighbours, our community, and the world beyond our doors. Come and see what we're about.
